Wow, what a day and experience:)...track is all about cooling...between my tires shredded and a tonne of "pick up" to Austin's brakes smoking:).

Since Kerstin was working the course at turn 1 of all places and had a great time especially seeing that Audi R8 coming at you hard to the harpin, I had the camera mounted for the vids, but here's what I took:

Wow, tires took a beating today, I understand why they are in the condition they with some feedback today, and other than my drivng ability:)...how I should care for them is my question. I assume if I drive the next few days the excess rubber will break off, or even better/worse on Sunday at the next event...lol.

Thanks:

Hmm are we starting to think dedicated track tires might be a good idea?   LOL, Awesome show Brian, can't wait to see the results.

I don't feel so bad...with R Comps also...lol

I think yours fared better than mine

seriously though, killing my tires was the only thing keeping me close to some of the cars on track today, cuz it sure wasnt the power i was putting down (~130hp)

Well your motor is 140hp stock and with the mods you have it should be around 170hp.  So if your guess was 130hp at the wheels that should be about right.

I finally figured it out Austin.

I am sure you have Windows Movie Maker.  Import the vid downoad from your camera, move the images to the timeline you want, then save...but here's the trick:).

On your left pane task list..."save to my computer" the shortened version you just made:).

Yep that's what I've been doing cept photobucket's got a 5min or 100meg limit, whichever comes first.  That means the clip can only have a few laps and thats it.

Anyway here's a clip from the lap day

Stupid windnoise.. have to fix that somehow.. might have to drive w/ the windows up/sunroof on next time

You can also take a cotton ball and loosly tap it over the mic on the camera, that will get rid of most of the wind noise, and still let about 60% of the audio from the engine and cabin get in.
