New user here, but a friend of mine pointed me this way.
Just the other day a worthless you know what decided to bust my driver's side window and steal my $30 CD player sometime in the night, and leave me pretty fuming the next day when a neighbor came to tell me that my window was busted. Not only was my window broken, but there's a big gash on the paneling right next to the door by the driver's side head rest, my center console has a large crack in it from probably a crowbar, and my power window motor looks like it has collapsed. My question is how would a d.i.y. guy go about finding the easiest/cheapest solution to replace and fix these parts because, to my knowledge, Houston is pretty dry when it comes to Fieros. Here's a link to the carnage in my car showing the damages: http://imgur.com/a/faWgQ And here's how the car is normally, all nice and unvandalized :( http://imgur.com/hTPYsmS |

ahh too bad your not local ..i just pulled a door glass from my car ...drivers side too :) ....once you remove the inside door panel you will see the window regulator on the regulator it will have some giant white pins/roller / stupid ass gm design ..these are attached with some big rivets ....depending on the glass you get ....these may allready be on the glass...hopefully they are ...should be as simple as just putting new rivits in ..
having said that its a fiero ..and nothing is ever simple lol good luck :) |
