Just a thought at this point

Maybe a collector plate restore project...lol.  With buying a new home, not sure if I'll be racing much if any this summer, my car is just sitting with insurance...sad:(.

I agree with David...so many of us love to work on our cars and learn...then there are some that due to space, knowledge, equipment, etc...would prefer to pay someone to have quality work done to our specialty cars...which is what they are becoming...as long as your rates are fair:)...I am sure your neighbours hope not to see a collection of cars in your driveway also:)

Most of the things I'm going to be able to tackle will only be from an hour, to a few days at most.  I won't be able to have people drop their cars off here for a week or more at a time as was happening before (heh - or the odd thing that took 6-8 months!!!).  So in your case, depending on what you wanted done, you'd have to either kick back and wait for it - or have someone follow you to give you a ride back out.  I've had people get followed by a spouse etc, and they run off and hit the mall for the day, or do whatever.  Then I just give you a call when it's all done.

Basic rate this time around will be less than before at $40/hr.  Still about 1/3 what a dealer might charge (and lets face it - most of them don't even know what a Fiero is anymore! Or what a Pontiac is in another year or so...   :D )

As for when I'll start things up again....  I need to do a MAJOR overhaul (read: throw out lots of junk) of my shop and house here.  If you can get me a major deal on a dumpster, well....  it'll just be that much sooner!  It'll be sooner than later though.  Few weeks?
