Just a reminder to everybody, next week (This coming Saturday) is the March Meeting. Despite our talks, this meeting is at the same Ricky's as always. Meeting starts at 6pm, but feel free to show up an hour early (Or as early as you please) to chat out front and eye up everyone's machine.

Never shift into reverse without a back-up plan.

Jeez, has it been a month already?

[EDIT] Hang on, hang on... it's only been three weeks. This early notice has me all confused!

Just a heads up, the club meeting will again be at Ricky’s in Langley. I have included a link to the correct map.  Please excuse the link that was sent out with a Google map attached as  it is wrong.

Major items for discussion is, “should the club relocate”  if so Where?  Keeping in mind, we need a banquet room, adequate parking, with prices around 12 bucks for a burger and coke.

We should also talk about the March meets and runs coming up.  I know that Damian aka Dawg on the forum is really interested in getting the people together that want his idler pulley solution for the V6 belt squeal.  He needs confirmation about the number of pulleys he needs to have on hand.  If no one speaks up the entire idler deal may just simply not happen.  Please check the forum for details on the idler, and email dawgen@shaw.ca to be included.

The March 27th Fish and Chips run, is a great short local run to give our cars a shake down before we start to get into the major runs like the Hells gate run, Arlington run and the MEGA RUN to Duffy Lake..

All right guys, I hope to see lots of you at the meeting.  We have a great deal of new members showing up, so let’s make sure all the current members show up and show off their rides.  This is the beginning of Summer, so let’s see all the cars out.

I had an enjoyable evening...finally being able to put faces to names feels good. If there was one thing to complain about, I failed to check all the details on my bill to see that 15% gratuity was included! So that waitress ended up getting 30% for tips from me! And it was a rather substantial bill - fish & chips, pasta alfredo, beer, and cheese cake .

Looking forward to the next event (if my schedule allows). Oh and as briefly mentioned during the meeting, I will offer a one-week free trial at my boxing gym in East Van. For Fiero people, I will throw in a substantial discount on the training fees as well. Check out my website at www.beyondboxing.com

It was good to finally meet you, personally, Robin. I know certain members had met you on the chocolates run, but for many of us, that was the first time.
