car ran fine before i changed the alternator, now its got a dead cyl, all help would be apprieciated, its a 84, 4 banger  thx

Coincidence. With all the high humidity we've been having, you've probably got a short in the cap, or under a plug wire or something (you can't clean it BTW). |
