Eh must be a young guy, or just not computer savvy.  I am guessing under 20 or over 40. http://www.westcoastfieros.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=1031&PN=1&TPN=3 - http://www.westcoastfieros.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=103 1&PN=1&TPN=3

I am sitting here looking at the 4.9 that I bolted to my Getrag 5spd LAST NIGHT, with pics posted this exact forum, and nope there does not seem to be any adapter plate.

Now to actually answer your questions with a little less sarcasm in my posts.   No there is no adapter plate needed.

As for mounts, there are no commercially available mounts, however there is usually one or 2 people on Pennocks at a time that are making extra mounts to go along with builds they are doing.  Fiero Addiction (google it) use to sell mount kits, but from what I hear he is harder than hell to get in touch with now a days.
