So I have an MX1000 Logitech mouse.  Pretty much the top of the line mouse a year or so ago and still one of the best on the planet.  9 buttons and a scroll wheel, laser tracking, rechargeable with a docking station, pretty much wicked.  However over the last few months I have noticed the battery was only lasting 3-4 days between charges and the optical pickup was starting to get flaky.  Its not the same as a regular optical mouse as it actually uses a laser for tracking.  I was about to retire it and go out and buy a new mouse.  However after doing some reading on tech forums about it, I called up Logitech tech support.  They took the model number, and serial numbers from the mouse, the base station and the charger and then asked for my address.  I was kinda puzzled as to why they wanted my address.  The lovely young lady on the phone said, well so we can send you a new mouse.  I was ecstatic to get a new MX1000 then she told me, Oh I am sorry sir, but we no longer have that mouse in production.  She says but that's OK, they will send me a new MX Revolution.  Which is pretty much the top of the line for computer mice today.

There was no 3rd degree, no credit cards for verification, they did not care where I bought it, how long I had been using it, they said they made it, its broken, so here is a new better one.  I don't even have to send my old one back.  This is one company that I am going to continue to buy there products for life.

Here is what it looks like, yep it has 2 scroll wheels and lots of programmable buttons.  I have been using it for a week now and love it.
