I'm offering my long time friend for sale. I've had her for nearly a decade and she has served me exceptionally well. I have not missed a single servicing in that time. I have dealt with just one neighbourhood shop in that time and when they called for any service it was always done. I religiously came in when the little sticker said it was time. Lately the engine revs too high when I shift and the mechanic wants $1500 to repair the problem. I am told the clutch is failing/failed. I am pregnant and this whole situation seems to be the worlds way of telling me I need something a bit more practical. The outside and inside are just about perfect having driven just 145,212 kilometers. I hate to let her go like this but it does not make financial sense for me to spend $1500 to repair a car worth not much more than that. The colour is quite unique and I have yet to see another one like it. The engine is good and the v type engine makes a lot of power. The aircare expires in 2 months. I am open to offers. Very light internet searching makes AROUND $500 seem reasonable. I will take the best offer based on the picture and my best of ability accurate description. I'm in my third trimester and can't spend hours showing and driving the car nor answering technical questions. Everything I know I have put in to this description. I will accept the best email offer and contact you to meet. I thank everybody in advance but I will only contact the person with the best offer. You can drive it right from my house but the engine revs up so that may or may not be a problem for you. I felt uncomfortable driving it this way. Please: NO emails after 9:00 p.m and before 8:00 am...you can imagine my need for uninterupted rest.

Location: 16/Arbutus

it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests

So, does anyone feel this ad is legitimate?

Seriously, I'm curious. I really am. Does anyone feel this ad isn't bogus?

I'll preface this with that this is just my opinion, take it for whatever it's worth and perhaps it's worth nothing.

I too am a bit tired of these ads here. Nobody cares as much as you do about them, and it shows because nobody posted to this thread. You've gotta get another hobby, one that doesn't involve finding "bad" people :) Go find some good people and bring some cheer around here. Everybody likes that instead of the negative ones.

Buddy, do you only post in this forum to be a nuisance?

Try adding something original and worthwhile to the discussion for a change... if you're capable.

Patrick, you've now just made two posts in a row where you have attacked members of this forum. Good luck with your posts about illegitimate fiero posts/ads and people on the internet here.

Hey, come on now everyone. We're a club god damn it, start acting like it. We don't need to be attacking eachother (Everyone does that for us) so lets all take a step back, calm down, and move along. Personally, I do side with Patrick in beyond annoyed by the false ads, as it makes finding a Fiero for a friend more of a hassle than a favour.

Thanks Romeo for making it sound like there is a fight or something going on.. maybe next time check in with the people involved before telling us all to calm down maybe

Nothing to see here, just a difference of opinions.

Everybody has their boundaries and I overstepped Patrick's by disagreeing with what he's doing on the forum, I won't be doing that again. On that same note I felt he overstepped my boundaries by his comments. We've already had a friendly chat and there's nothing more to say.

I'd like to chime in here and say I think what he's doing is usefull and even bloody amusing at times.  But I choose to see those attributes in what he's doing.

There must be something I'm missing here......some old baggage perhaps?

Anyhow, my advice is just don't read his stuff, hit the delete key.

Damien
