Hi all,

I have a chance to get some Toyo R888's in 225/45/15 that I can use for the balance of this AutoX/track day season...question is if anyone know's how much our stock rims weight?...thanks

Ohhh, the R888's are AMAZING, they're what I want to get if I ever do end up getting my TSW Mondellos.

Those are sexy rims:)...the treadwear is 100 for these tires, read up on them you need to have them heated up for best performance, not as much as the R1A's...I still wish for slicks at 30-50 treadwear, got hooked on those last year

Oh, I know they arn't practical, but my assumption is that if I have $2600 for rims, practicality wouldn't be overly relevent. lol

just a thought here,the guy i got the 2.8 ENG from,had an 88 DUKE there an
it had a set of nice rims/tires on it he wanted to sell me for $300.they
looked somthing like this.if you want his PH i have it.let me know

Patrick, what's the weight of the stock ones, anyone know?...lol, can't find the info anywhere, and what the offset is also would be nice.

I post on the Racing List for you.  Here is the reply.

David - It's your lucky day... due to a recent move, I happened to know
the exact location of a box containing a pair of 15x7 lace wheels. :-)

The answer is... 18 lbs 5 oz, with valve stem and center cap. That's an
'88 GT rear BTW, but I don't think there was a weight difference between
those and the earlier 15x7 lace wheels, despite (I'm drawing on memory
here) a part number change. The 15x6 '88 fronts were about a pound
lighter IIRC.

ok his name is? WIKIE.i got a 2.8 ENG from him,all i have is his cell-604-
825-4284-30923 BROOKDALE CT ABBY- but i do remember where he lives
an the DUKE with the rims is there,they have LO/PRO tires on it,an iam sure
they were 5 spoke black.worth a look if you get out that way
way.
