So I've been listening to the radio, and apparently there's a big drive-in thing on Thursday, with $1 from every teen burger going to MS Charity. It says right in the commercial to show up in your classic car. While we might not be classics, I think we'd fit in just fine. Anyone else interested?

A great charity to be involved in as my mom passed away because of it 4 years ago. I'll see about trying to get in on that if there is a group. Thanks for bringing it up.

Frankie wasn't allowed to vote, but if we're not in Mission on Thursday, we'll go!

[EDIT] I beat the system and was able to allow Frankie to cast her vote.

The Walnut Grove located was chosen by Car-2-Lo and I for an A and W meet next weekend just had not been announced yet.  Hence why we were handing out all the A and W Flyers on the club drive last weekend.  It has a great parking area.  Is this Charity thing location specific or all A and W's are doing it.    The Walnut Grove one is right behind the club meeting Ricky's.

And it's "A&W".

Okay, we're going to Mission on Wednesday, so the Frankster and I are available Thursday if there are a number of us who wish to meet up at an A&W.

Come on guys, we all gotta eat!

Let's get together for a Teen Burger or two (they're good!) at an A&W sometime on Thursday and support a worthwhile charity in the process.

So which one are we going to? Not sure if I can insure the fiero but I'll see how the weather is.

Yes, I'm down for whichever one, is there any particular one that suits people best?

My personal suggestion, is the one behind the Ricky's as everyone (well most people at least, and I think all the active members) know where it is.  However if someone else wants to make the descission quickly so it can be posted to the email list, lets get er done.

Well, IF we're going to do this, and IF we're going to meet at the Walnut Grove A&W in Langley, I suggest we make it for 7 PM at the earliest so we're not fighting rush hour traffic (especially those of us from Vancouver) to get there.

I'm fine with that or the one in Guildford which is probably closer for all. It's just across from the mall slightly south near Earls and Wendy's.

Mmmmm....

You know you want one (or two).

At this point, I think Lisa and I are going to take a bow out on this one.  I am still not feeling as well as I had hoped for tonight.  So we will probably both be staying home.  To be honest I was looking forward to the burger.  So I hope you all have fun.  Take lots of pics.

I like 7pm. You guys want to go to Guildford more, or Walnut Grove more?

Either is fine for me as it's about the same distance etc for me to deal with. I was thinking of those coming from Vancouver.

Personally, I like either suggestion.

To tell the truth, although the Walnut Grove one is probably farther away (from Vancouver), it's probably quicker to get to (for me) as it's right off the freeway.

It really doesn't matter to me a whole lot, so somebody make a decision here.

I'm going outside to put a dog cover on the passenger seat of the Fiero. When I come back in I hope to discover where we're going!

Sorry guys I would have come - maybe a notification of
local events might have helped to keep me informed.  Or I
suppose I would just have read a bunch of forums every day.

I did run out and buy a yummy teen burger near Guilford
anyways. :-P

What an awesome night!

Thanks Graeme, Patty, Red Willy and Frankie for supporting the cause, and enjoying our awesome impromptu night out. Well, I just got home, and Patty should be home any minute now, but we talked about everything tonight, from camping, Whistler and how gloriously hot I am (Right Graeme?).

We also spoke of more serious affairs, spoke of age and naitivity, responsibility and virtually anything else that could be discussed over a few disproportionate drinks.

On a sadder note, seeing the ABC Restaurant parking lot completely devoid of Fieros was very depressing. It just looked so lifeless and... wrong.

Hehe. Graeme do not read beyond this point. God that drink was sickening large though, I damn near emptied all my insulin just trying to combat the sheer level of sugar present.
