I have heard many a rumor of this car, nice to finally see some pics of it. I wonder which engine is going to go into this car. I know the builder of the car does some really clean engine installs.

Latest update: Clynt picked up a hardtop roof, (gone is sun roof), the lines
flow better this way. He also picked white trunk lid and fenders/looks
like choptop might be turning white on Clynt.
That's looking really sharp!

My god that is huge.
I have had 26.5" tall tires on my 85GT and those are a full inch taller.
I hope you have a good trans to put in front of those massive tires, as with any spirited driving, it is going to tear things apart.
Congrats on getting something custom made up and fitted on the car.
For those that are interested, take a pop over to http://www.dakota-truck.net/TIRECALC/ - http://www.dakota-truck.net/TIRECALC/ and play around.
The stock Fiero rear tire size is 215/60/14 or 215/60/15 for GT's. I have fit 225/60/16 on the rear of a Fiero that has been dropped 2 inches.

I betcha some of those shark-fin things along the top of the rear window would up your top speed or highway fuel mileage a wee bit :D
Personally I can't give up on the amazingly excellent rear vision a wingless Fiero has. Then again, I don't run into any traction issues with the stock V6 either.
But if you have more power... a Fiero GT (with the headlights down) has a better CD than the Veyron, so I figure it can spare a bit for the sake of downforce. You'll still need a very big engine to hit 400 km/h, though.

-------------
|
Posted By: Borteep
Date Posted: 11 April 2008 at 2:57pm
Those are definitely bright enough! Depending on whether they're the HID units or not, they're either the brightest or second brightest lights (with the best pattern either way) that you can get on a Fiero. All you need is the four lights, plug adapters and a new headlight bucket. There's a dude in (I think) Germany that makes them. You can find his thread on Fiero.nl.

Those are my old "CSI WHEELS" back in '88 we wanted stock looking mags (with mesh).
Front 16"X7" rear 16X8" ( +35 offset)
Clynt has brought new life to them rear 16"X10"
Their not around anymore, I think Smurf (WCF club member) works for a wheel company
should know who manufactured the CSI WHEELS ?
That was a bit of history, any new info on these wheels, let us know.

Clynt's Panda Chopper...
Okay, just joking, it won't stay this way!
So finally went to visit Clynt's shop, he is still having fun tweaking here and there...
The wing went back on (he has two deck lids, one with wing and one without, so he can switch over anytime).
I like it better without or trim wing ends a bit (but, that's my taste only) What do you guys think?
Next, he's going to do something with the rear bumper and tweak it.

No lottery win here, Clynt also nickeled and dimed it...choptop, wide body and V8!!!!!
He only paid $500 '91 Caddy (for the whole car) !
V8 Caddy on cradle now, this is going into the chopper.
It may look messy NOW, but all wires are labeled and Clynt is making harness.
Clynt does super CLEAN INSTALLS.
Added note: okay, I saw wires tagged with #s

Next time you see Clynt, give him a poke and ask him if he has forgotten to swap anything. In those pics, he has not moved the valve cover yet. Just jokingly ask him how he will put oil in the car with the oil cap being on the firewall side rather than the trunk side.
Really glad to see another 4.9 hitting the streets. Now if I could just get enough time to put mine back on the road. Oh how I miss the sound and torque of that car. Then I have to decide if I am going to install the fastback clip on it.

Are my eyes deceiving me, or is there an oil cap on the other valve cover as well?

Ya know what Patrick, you might be right on that, so he has either swapped it from the time the first and 2nd pic were taken, or he installed 2 Valve covers both with oil fill caps.

Very cool Clynt, have you decided which car is going to get the Turbo? I know the 4.5 will rev better due to the shorter stroke, but I think you will see more gain on the 4.9 as it has to struggle more to get enough air in, plus the extra 30 ci, should be a notable gain when boosted. Have you done the Mustang Injector upgrade yet. Its on my to do list here.
