Frankie and I spotted that very same Fiero after hockey on Friday afternoon as well. No sign of the owner. I hear he's kind of grumpy anyway.

anyone know anything about it?
an 2.2 ecotec?
They have min hp stock(140), but with a bit of work can pump out major hp.
Not sure if the trouble and money to put it in is worth 140 hp.........

Man oh man, I bet he is!

Between this and the delays (whatever they are) with the chopper, we're going to have one ornery club member on our hands.

Just popping in to quickly say Hello and reply to the Ecotec car comment.

Medic, (Steve) did end up buying the car for a real discount.  Before he bought the car I gave him the low down on all the mods and explained how the car drove.  I won't say how much he paid for the car, but I'll say that just the suspension alone is worth more than he paid for it.  From what I understand, Medic maybe yanking out the weak 4 popper and replacing it with something bigger.

Yes David is right, that is a definite thought. I am also looking at the feasibility of a turbo system on a 2.2 ecotec. It all depends on the cost to squeeze out another 100 or so lbs torque and HP. I know from past experience (dsm) a 2 ltr engine can produce a lot of power while still getting exceptional fuel economy.

So where's the pictures? The car doesn't exist if there are no pictures!

GM has upgrade stages if you're interested in that sort of thing, all the way 300HP.

It also has a mammoth aftermarket scene, if that's your cup of tea as well.
