I was there. I had spotted a red notchback heading down Harris road and suspected Colby would've been in attendance, but I was slightly depressed to see I was left alone to hold up the mid-engined Pontiac. I was also annoyed that I had to go fab up a battery hold-down using whatever I could find at Lordco, which meant I didn't get to do my walkaround too. This meant my first run I was effectively blind. Beyond those two annoyances, it was a good day though. Great course, lots of sun, and it was even fun during the off-race hours thanks to Steph wandering around and chatting to everyone. Managed to get five official runs in, with two fun runs in. I have pictures but honestly, I just can't be bothered to resize them all, I will have them at the next autocross/Fiero event. ------------- Never shift into reverse without a back-up plan. |

I think you're most likely in STR depending on how much has changed. You may want to consult the http://www.scca.org/documents/2011%20Tech/2011%20SCCA%20Solo%20Rules.pdf - rulebook yourself to be sure. I didn't know my class. I told them about my car, it's lateral G and power figures, and it's mods since then, they put me in that class. And alright Patty, I'll do that in a bit. ------------- Never shift into reverse without a back-up plan. |
