A couple of weeks ago I went to the closest PicknPull yards in WA, at Arlington and Lynnwood. Neither yard had any Fieros at that time.

The website for this large chain of self service wrecking yards is below and is somewhat different than the one for our neighbourhood PickaPart in Chilliwack. In both cases they have excellent pricing, and the cars are all nicely lined up and well supported.

The PicknPull site http://www.picknpull.com/ - http://www.picknpull.com/  has a good search engine, and can be used to check all of their sites or only those within specified distance from "you". The Lynnwood site is new to the chain, and the search engine is not yet functional.

A useful feature is that the vehicle descriptions, although very spartan, include the date at which the car arrived in the yard. For example, the Arlington site now shows an 87 Fiero having arrived on July 27, but it does not show any details beyond that. A phone call will determined more detailed info about the model.

They have a yard in Kelowna, the nearest one in Canada, where there is an 85 Fiero.

Like PickaPart, to bring in a new car means removing one, so turn-over can be quite fast. If I correctly understand the "coding", each of these two yards brings in several 100 cars each month.

Cheers

Gary Hawthorn
