Hi Folks, I'm new to the Forum and this is my first Fiero. (GT 86) I skinned
the door to replace the door locks. Now I want to change all the felts and
water seals on my door windows. I'm strictly backyard guy so a little help
from some seasoned "Fiero Lovers" would be great. To me it looks like I have
to pull the glass? In that case off to the garage...
Thanks in advance! Clay in Vancouver Canada

I presume that you are mainly talking about the "dew wipes" located at the top of the door.

I changed mine a few months ago. Not very complicated as long as the door skin is still off.

Give me a call at 604-986-8199 and I will walk you through it.

I wish I took video of Randy when he did my dew wipes YEARS ago...window and all still on, he shifted the window a little and was able to get at the screws and change them...was done in an hour...lol

No not those ones guys, sorry for not being clear but it's not the dew wipes. I
am talking about the felts inside the door! That adjust and keep the glass
against the dew wipes.

BIG THANKS to Gary Hawthorn for showing up to my backyard
makeshift garage. We managed to change the passenger side interior felts.
Gary's some-what-organic approach to getting at those two very hard to get
at screws on the outer dew wipes. Once the dew's where out of the way the
window had more movement and Gary was able to finagle the felt guide in
upside-down then turned it 90 degrees and then flipped it upright with a
piece of hanger wire. That pretty much did it. I'll get the drivers side
tomorrow. Thanks again guys...

Gary's a good guy. He's demonstrated many times that he's more than willing to share his knowledge that he's acquired over the years working on all kinds of different cars.
