Has anyone ever thought of going through the trunk and cutting into the frame from the top to get at to those spinning nuts on the rear cradle mounts instead of cutting through the side of the frame when the bolts just keep spinning?  I tried to get the bolts off and drop down the cradle low enought to replace them, but as usual the nut on the frame is no longer welded on.

Going from the top is not a good idea. How are you going to
weld it back up? From the side, the nut is right there, easy To
fix.

I agree with dawg, cutting through the side of the frame rail is the way
to go. Just 3 slices with a cut off wheel and bend a hatch open then fold
it back when your done.

I know some people go through the back of the frame but you need to
take the whole rear bumper off for that.

Refer to the video(s) from the Fiero stripping party at Daves place.  I purposely shot a segment showing where to cut into the side of the frame, and what the nut looks like.

Just remember that we cut a full on hole since it didn't matter. As stated above, you only want to cut 3 sides, then fold (a light score line across the 4th side helps to keep the bend straight, but is optional).
