Howdy everyone. I assume we're all still meeting up at
the
same place these days? (If not, please message me
alerting
me otherwise).

TENTATIVELY, I should have Gretchin there this weekend.
Again, only a maybe. If not, I'll still be in attendance
with the big block.

Hopefully this kind of progress can continue with
Gretchin.

WOW, that was a fast swap at what shop did you do this at ?
Last time I saw Gretchin she was sitting on your front lawn without an engine.

Canada Engines, just on the Surrey side of the Pat Bridge.
And she was sitting without an anything yesterday, they've
thrown in the engine, tranny (What an awful transmission,
mind you), sub-frame, suspension, brakes, cooling lines,
changed the ignition coil and plugs and connected the PCM.
Tomorrow is going to be fluids, then a start up, then
(Hopefully) on the final assembly.

Awesome! About time she had a heart again.

Yes the meetings are still same place, 6:30 at the Ricky's. I was gonna
start a thread about it at some point this week.
Not sure if I will make it out yet, but I hope to.

Yeah, awesome! You must be looking forward to having a drivable Fiero again.

Unfortunately I have a family dinner to attend instead of the meeting, but hopefully I'll see you and Gretchin at the one after.

Fair enough Colby. Hopefully once she's all stitched back
up I can run in to you at Autocross. And thanks Harrison,
hopefully you can make it!

Tristan, how many times do we need to remind you... there's none of that type of stuff at autocross!  Sheesh!

Unfortunately guys, this will be the 3rd month in a row that I am absent as I am still in Oregon. Good news is I have the scrape / garbage haulers in the next few days cleaning up the back yard. (about 3/4 acre) They have about 5 more loads of metal and stuff to go, then the estate company will be starting on the house and basement items, they say 3 weeks to sell it all. I finally found a company with a large enough truck that has a Hydraulic Lift Deck, so I can load the tools and items that I want to take back to BC. (Tool box weighs 3000lbs, and no that's not a typo) Its going to cost me $550 bucks for a 3 day rental, but I will be able to bring it all back with me. So with any Luck, I will be at the May Meeting. I have a few things to tie up with my V8 Fiero which is now back in BC, so I should be able to have that on the road as well for the summer driving season.

...Just keeping you all on your toes with the 12th in the
title. You passed the test.

Anyways, sadly, Gretchin will NOT be in attendance (Sooooo
close too). I will be there in the big block, albeit, late
by about 30 minutes or so. Can't wait to see everyone
again! Well, most of everyone. Those of you who will be
there, I should say.

That comment kinda got away from me, not gonna lie.

Well, that was fun! Albeit, quite a few absent. Got to hear what an iron
duke sounds like with spur-cut timing gears though, so that was
awesome. =P
