I thought the picture of the Formula in http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/rds/cto/4043729794.html - This ad looked a little familiar...

For those that don't recognize it, that's a picture of the Formula that Colby bought from Graeme a couple years ago, as seen http://www.westcoastfieros.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?FID=5&TID=2460&PN=1&get=last - Here .

I don't know whether to be annoyed or flattered that they think that picture of my car represents a $20,000 Fiero.  I notice they used alternate pictures for the interior and engine, to back up the claim that it's an automatic.

With a rebuilt engine and a 5-spd modified Getrag, your Formula should now be worth at least $30,000.

Careful Johnny... for whatever obscure reason, not everyone appreciated THE PHANTOM SQUAD last time around.

It could be a real car, but if you're going to be asking $20,000 for a 25 year old car, wouldn't you want to take some more flattering pictures of it?

I have no desire to contact this guy. I already have my own red Formula.

There's not much need to look at the pictures "a little closer". The main side view shot in this guy's ad is the identical picture that Graeme took of his own Fiero and put in his http://www.westcoastfieros.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?FID=5&TID=2460&PN=1&get=last - For Sale thread before he sold the car to Colby.

Perhaps he needs to sell this 25 year old car for $20,000 before he can afford a camera?

The picture of Colby's Formula has now been replaced with this...

Ya gotta wonder how serious someone actually is if they're trying to sell their 25 year old Fiero for $20,000(!) using a picture like that.

It's been three months and there's been a HUGE price reduction... two bucks!

At least they seem to be using their own pictures now. I have to admit that that car looks really clean, but still not $20,000 clean.

I guess that's why the price was dropped to $19,998.
