Hello, I have a fiero. it has less than 200,000 km so I think it is gold. I was watching my fav show barret jackman auctions, I saw a fiero on there for one million dollars, so I know mine is worth at least 12,000. I know that fiero's were worth next to nothing a year ago but I dont care. I want to charge way too much for a car because thats how I roll.

I am a greasy person and want to gouge you with my over priced car.

Thanks for reading.

Probably someone that wants to buy a Fiero and is mad at the current pricing.  Its not a Fiero owners fault that the value on the cars is going up.  Too bad they did not buy early.

Really? I think that the current market value of fiero's in the lower mainland is moronic. There is no way a stock 88GT is worth 12 000. I'm sorry guys. I love fiero's but they're not worth near as much as most people in the lower mainland are asking for them.

Some scrupulous fellow started posting fiero's on Craigslist for ludicrous prices, never responded to anyone's emails and then claims they were sold. Do this a couple dozen times and you have a sellers market. Go outside this limited sphere of manipulation (lower mainland) and you'd be hard pressed for find a fiero for more than $5000.

The current prices are excessively inflated (and in fact I don't think most of the cars at those price levels are selling) but when you can regularly find GTs that are genuinely in good shape for 4 grand or under, let me know.

As far as I have seen, 88 GTs have been worth 8-12 for a while now while GTs in average to poor shape were asking 4.5 - 5 grand last summer. Believe me, I test drove many of them. I was watching the Washington and Oregon markets at that time as well.

There are a lot of rotten Fieros that make great choices for someone looking to do an engine swap or planning on doing wild body work that can be had very inexpensively, but for someone desiring something that looks good right up close and has a proper maintenance history they better be ready to spend a bit of money.

I think you just proved my point by finding perhaps one car in apparently the entirety of North America that was an 88 GT in (apparently) good condition (I say apparently because all the Fieros I checked out last summer were supposedly in top shape according to their ads as well, and many of your posted cars show very concerning issues in the small images and terse descriptions available), within your price bracket despite the fact that at least one of your ads dates back to 2 years ago.

I though it went without saying that automatic transmission cars have significantly less value, sorry I didn't include that in my post as a requirement.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree, in any case.

I just think 10-12G's for a fiero is ridiculous. As awesome as they are, I don't think they're worth that much.

Any btw I thought many of those cars were nice. I didn't post the shabby looking ones or any other years. There were tones of nice 86GT's under 5k as well. Also the GT's that are in less than pristine shape could be fixed to pretty darn nice shape for a couple thousand dollars, adding up to less than 5K.

Sadly this is an argument of opinions. It will not bother me in the slightest if you continue to purchase fiero's for eight to twelve thousand dollars. As for me. I'll stick to the thousand dollars and under range. Drop a few hundred in them and have excellent driving, nice looking fiero's for the cost of the taxes you paid on yours.

English yes, Bio no. Unless your Bio teacher was a nicer individual than mine.

I do have a secret to success though.

1. Read everything your supposed to.
2. Do all your homework.
3. Study for all your exams.
4. Listen to good music the entire time.

Hmm.. I prefer classical. I don't have a "lover", nor friends that do my homework. And I thought I had it all figured out!

Metal is good every now and again though as long as your can understand the words and the timing is tight.

Don't worry. You'll get used to working.

There is something beautiful about being productive. I'm not trying to be Philosophical but, habits formed early last forever. It is truly in your best interests to be studious. Even if it's only for an hour every evening that you set aside for homework. Lock the door, put on your preference of music and do the work.

Then work on your fiero.

Three Step Process to Fixing a Fiero

1. Buy a repair manual

That's cool. Don't do anything irreversible, your tastes might change later on.

My brother custom painted the interior on his 85 SE. Yellow paint everywhere. He liked it for a month and then realized that it was too much. We scrubbed the interior with paint thinner to get it off. Now he has stock interior with yellow highlights on the edges of his console and gauges.
