So i've found 3 fieros 85 SE V6, 85GT V6, 85-87 4cyl. Theyre all intact except for the GT which has front end damage, Lots of extra parts, including windsheild. Who would be interested in picking parts from them? Cheers, Mark

Where are these cars, Who has them, and how much are they asking for the parts.   Personally my intrest would be in the 4 banger cars.

The only parts I would be interested from the 87 would be the Isuzu Trans from it and the complete headlight setup with wiring. As I am trying update/backdate the parts on my 85GT with 87-88 parts.   I know that in most cases buying an entire parts car is cheaper than trying to piece up all the single parts.

If I get the car you can have the tranny, but I need at least 1 headlight setup (I have one semi operational).

Anyone who needs a core engine/parts can have it. We'll need to drop the cradle to get it out though.Tech (Deconstruct) day Haha.

But we are getting ahead of ourselves. Hopefully it's still available.

Well here is the story. The club scan tool one day would not turn on, made a slight squeak and then went dead. So I put in new batteries and still does the same thing.   This scan tool is the one that is at all the meetings and gets passed around a fair bit.   Well it was the 2nd time I pulled the batteries that I noticed the battery compartment was damp, I gave it few quick shakes and dribbles of water came out.   I took it apart and all the internal parts were pretty damp, like moisture. SO I allowed it dry, now there is a slight what oxide looking film on several things. But I put it back together and put the batteries in it and still no go.

Note sure what the problem is or how to fix. The scanner usually rides in the nose of my car and is left there until needed. It could be all the times going from outside air, into cabin air has finally taken its toll on the little gadget.

In either case I was hoping a club guy could take a look at it, before we start hunting for a replacement.   Its not really an expensive unit at this point. About $120 new on ebay and $80 used.

It plugs into the ALDL port of the ECM and reads all the sensors activity. I think you at one time had made a scan tool cable that worked on a laptop, do you still have those?

I still have two extra Winaldl cables made up sitting there, one for Kris Duck and the other for the club.

Don't ask me why I haven't sent them off. I'm quite busy and more than a little forgetfull (Short attention span). Ok, but I'm not a psycho anyway.

I've said this before, but I'll get my sh$% together and get it off.

Hey guys sorry for the the long wait, i've been really busy working on my car lately.

So i've discussed with the guy selling them (Who plans on crushing them soon ) and a friend from Classic Auto Recyclers. The Classic auto is interested on one possibly two pending on interest, and said if there was enough interest all three.

Classic Auto (its in Walnut Grove) will buy the number of cars pending amount of people interested, i dont want ANY of these cars scrapped as they are in good, road worthy (except no papers) condition, so please to anyone who is interested phone Classic Auto ASAP at (604) 888-3355 and let him know that there are people interested!!!!!!!!!
