Would it even be worth it to throw a stock 2.8L into my 2M4? I like my car and I'd rather not just buy an different notchie. I'm just somewhat dissatisfied with my 4cyl. Let's say I had a 2.8L + 5 speed tranny + ECU + newer gauges. Would it be all that difficult to hook up? I'd love to drop in a 3800SC but don't really have +3G's laying around. If I could roll a 2.8L conversion for around $1500 I'd jump at it. I have NO idea if that's even realistic, so try not to make too much fun of me if I'm dreaming.

The 2.8 swap is a easy swap to do on a Fiero but... You need to find a wrecked v6 Fiero with a good running motor to be able to collect all the parts required for the swap. With a 2.8 installed you can go to a 3.4 later with not too many problems, if you need more hp in the future.

Matt ...i have an 87 2.8 v6 with automatic and wire harness and ecm still on the cradle if your interested. Posted before.
