Thats a good price, but why are you selling it?  With all the mods you are doing, this seems like a nice addition to the car.

I got the competition short-throw shifter from Rodney's to
after the first one. The first shifter has 1/2" shaft,
one I have now 5/8" shaft, so it looks thicker(I'm all for looks).

I also have a stock shifter cut and welded shorter with threads,
the plastic boot ring is cracked, looks not bad went bolted on
and IT'S FREE...

I will gladly give ya a spare stock one and accept the short one.  That way you have a factory one if you ever want to go back to it.  The short one will make a nice addition to my 88.

It's yours Capt. I'll bring it to the meeting.
I really don't need the stock one.

Chitty...see what happened when I work so much:)...Capt beat me to it...I am needed to thread my shifter that was cut, and I just bought a new OEM leather shift knob, was thinking of aftermarket.

Capt...buy the threaded one off ya?...save me the bull of getting mine threaded...we'll chat:).

If Car-Lo does not want the OEM one, you can have the stock one.  However I am pretty sure you are going to still want to get your other one threaded as the long stock one is not near as nice feeling as a short one.

Jon I did not expect the leather shift knob to be included nore the boot.  However thank you very much.  I installed it today in place of my other cut down short shifter and am very pleased with the change.  I had a goose neck ricer shifter on the car and frankly had grown rather tired of it.

Brian, thanks to the generosity of Jon, I now have 2 OEM standard shifters for you to choose from, both are threaded and stock height.  You can have either one and seeing as I don't need the shifter boot, that Jon included you can have that also if you want it.
