Hey Austin...this Sunday July 6th, another club but I believe our UBC membership will allow registration which you can check on...I already have my VCMC one and looks like I'll be registering, I will already be there on July 5th for the Vleocity training...lol.

I know I'll get my ass kicked, but the only way to get better is with track time.  This event only gets you maybe 3-4 runs apparently as it's a competitive forum, but another day on the track...priceless...lol

VCMC is pleased to host the final event in the 2008 CACC Autoslalom Championship Series.

This event is open to members of any CACC affiliated club. All VCMC members, seniors and novices alike, are encouraged to attend this event to represent their club in the regional series.

Date
Sunday July 6, 2008

Schedule
07:00 Gates open
08:15 Tech closes *
08:30 Registration closes *
09:00 Drivers' meeting

* These times are strictly enforced and anyone not registered and tech'd by 08:30am will not be allowed to run. Please allow enough time for car prep and registration. Also note that there is a railway crossing on Harris road. Please allow enough time to get to the site if you get caught behind the train.

Please read the supplemental regulations which are http://www.vcmc.ca/suppregs/CACC3_2008_Supp_Regs.pdf - available for download .

Location
BC Driving Centre, Pitt Meadows Airport

How do I get there?

Ford Road, Harris Road and the area around the airport must be treated with respect. That means no speeding, squealing tires, burn-outs, loud music or anything that might make the general public worry for their safety or register a complaint with the facility. If anyone is caught doing this they will be BANNED from future events at this site.

You can register the morning of the event, but we encourage http://www.karelo.com/register.php?BID=56&BT=10#Ev6351 - pre-registration on Karelo to help speed up the morning registration process. Entry fee is $35.

Membership in a CACC affiliated club is required for this event. VCMC memberships are https://www.karelo.com/enter_res.php?&BID=56#Ev5385 - available on Karelo and at the event.

Sign up on this thread below. This will help us to determine the size of the event and allow us to plan a smooth running event.

Hi all,

I'll be out today playing with the big boys and girls...my last Novice race:).  Yesterday at training was allot of fun especially in the rain, I can say if anyone is looking for Performance tires, the Falken RT615'5 Rock!.

Today's weather should be much nicer.

Couldn't remember what size rim/rubber you were running, but I found this and thought you might want a spare set.
