Hi there,

 

I just finished a FULL rebuild of an 87 GT 2.8 Auto with AC and I can for the life of me figure out where the fuel return line goes (5/8's rubber line comming off the intake manifold) I realy need your guys help. Thank you very much for reading my post. thank you.

This is a stock engine (ok, well one I rebuilt, but...).

The picture shows the position of the two lines on the engine.


Oh yeah - you said 'rubber line coming off the intake'.  I assume you just meant steel.

5/8 Fuel line???

 

Not likely. Are you sure this isn't the vaccuum feed to the brake booster?

Thanks for the help guys,

 

I figger'd it out though. that 5/8th line is actually supposed to connect to the air intake, what had happens is I had an injector stay open on me and it filled the block with gasoline....the fuel that was comming out of there was overflow from filling the motor up with gas. it was quite a mess. anywho, I driained it all out, changed the oil and away it went. thanks for all the help. now all i got to do is install all new suspension componants and I have a brand new car...YEAH!.
