can anyone tell me if a 88 rear clip will fit on to a 85 gt, if so do i have to change the deck lid, tailights and bumper?

Yes.
Changing the bumper (aka fascia) is optional. It leaves a tiny odd spot in the corner if you don't, that unless you really knew your stuff you'd never see. You DO NEED ever tiny bit from the 'donor' fastback though. I'm talking filler plates, clips, wiring harness, bolts.... you name it. If you've never taken apart a car before, this is probably not the thing you want to tackle as a first timer. You also have to gut half the interior as well, as there are bolts that go up into the roof panel (oh yeah, the roof has to be partially pulled off as well). Given up yet? ![]() |
