My 87 Fiero 2.8 V6 has a problem I can't figure out, I
was hoping someone can point me in the right direction! I've replaced the ignition module about 3 months ago, when the tach went crazy and it wouldn't crank. However this time it does crank but idles really rough, it's not high but according to the tach its steady at about 1000rpm. The motor would just shake, also driving it - the car would have no power at all. These problems seemed to occur after I had an alarm system installed. Please any suggestions would be great! Thanks in advance! |

well as i have figured out one minor wiring issue can cause alot of problems...
if everything started after the alarm was installed maybe you should start their! I played with the stock subwoofer got it installed with an aftermarket deck and somehow it now backfeeds into the interior lights and blows the map lights fuse. I am now in the process of ripping all the wires for the stock subwoofer out as they may have causes a short in another system as they hadn't been used in 10 yrs |
