What all are you shielding your cables with? My exhaust is wrapped. The cable had a plastic tube over it, then what looks like a length of 1/4" thick hose and a heat shielding blanket. With all that, I still melted the inner liner. I'm waiting on a replacement cable and don't want it it happen again. |

I'd try DEI heat wrap tape. It's the only thing I can think of that might help. They have a kinda conduit tube style which should work pretty well.
