Tristan,

...nothing personal but it seems you need to ask other people to handle your social affairs since it seems other people are always on the hunt to mess with your life...or so it seems at times.  Lol

And of course Cheers!

The problem is... if guys ask questions about this debacle, I can't answer them.

Good time for you to join PFF. Come on, it's been THE source for Fiero information for a dozen years.

It's too bad you don't post on Pennock's. This is the type of nonsense regarding certain vendors that needs to be widely exposed.

Well, presumably I wont have to be talking to them anymore. I have a different set on order from Andy's Auto Sport (They've never screwed me over yet), and the charge has been refunded.

Ugh, what an experience though.

Honestly bud, I don't know why you're even talking to those guys anymore.

Wow, I really do need to learn to listen to you guys... Phoned back to ask why it was taking so long to ship (As I had other things I had ordered after that had come already).

"Oh, we're still in talks with Koni..."
"WHAT THE F&#^?!?!"

Trying to cancel the order was a fun experience as well, as they apparently couldn't find records of it in their system. I told them the card number, and if the charges weren't taken back, I'd be taking legal action. Waiting for a call back now.

Hm. If I did that though, would they not stop delivery of parts? As it stands, the guy at WCF said the parts are in delivery at the moment. I don't want to alter that situation, as I've been waiting since January to get my hands on the buggers. lol

them to finally 'fess up.

You should have contacted the credit card company. They will refund your
money and debit the vendor for goods not sold. You should get all your
money back via the CC company's built in insurance.

Being the honest guy that you are, you can put another charge through after
the goods arrive.

No tracking info. And the only reason I am even aware of the fact I have parts coming is because I phoned them up to ask why they'd charged me $400 approximately a month after I had already cancelled my order. What would they have done if I had already ordered another set? I would not have accepted that situation, for example. And realistically, it would've been fine. I would've simply refused to sign for them and told the bank to reverse the charges. As the current situation is acceptable (And only just, I just blew $1400 on truck parts a week ago, thinking I still had those hundreds) I will simply accept it, as it'll be easier this way. Still, not impressed that a charge of that magnitude was reinstated after explicitly cancelling the order a month ago.

He knows they shipped it;  Guessing by the fact that he says any day now (so got tracking info?).

Oh sure, this information came to light after I had posted.

Yeah, I'd like to know as well whether Tristan got any tracking info. If they said it was shipped and it actually still hasn't been, well...

Yep - total incompetence on WCF's part!

If the charge had shown up, and there was no explanation or notification, and he then called the CC place to say WTF is this charge all of a sudden...  no problem!!
Or worse, WCF calls to say 'do you want this still' and he says NO, and they charge anyhow.

Let's look at some posts and dates...

At what point would you say it's too little too late?

Tristan cancelled the order on April 7th. It's now May 20th, he still hasn't received anything (which is no surprise as he cancelled the order six weeks ago!), and suddenly finds this $400 charge on his credit card bill.

I would've asked the credit card company to reverse the charges, and if a package turns up two months after the order's been cancelled, I'd just refuse delivery.

How's that fraud? More like absolute incompetence on the part of West Coast Fiero.

And if they were mailed...  well...  if you were in the states it would be a federal crime.  Not sure how that works cross border - but it CAN'T be a good thing.  :)
