I have an 85 Fiero GT. THe Middle console arm rest has a smail deep factory slit in it. Can anyone explain to me what it is for or what is supposed to be there. Thanks!

Uhm if its near your elbow that is not supposed to be there. If its near the cigarette lighter socket, there should be an 8 hole plug there for the ALDL link. (computer trouble cods. There should be a cover over it. Maybe a picture of what you are talking about might be better. There are 2 side covers in that arm rest that should have vents in them for the ECM, is that what you are talking about.

That's the driver's license/credit card storage option, only available in '85. Very rare and highly sought after!
