All I know is what I've read on this forum, (please correct me if I'm wrong)

1. Very expensive
2. One of the most difficult conversions
3. Difficult to find a Northstar compared to a 3800
4. Not all that much more pro's than a 3800SC conversion and the 3800 swap is more straight forward and cheaper in the long run.

I have no experience with any type of conversion, just what I've read. I'm sure others will have more advice.
I wanna go fast.

Kawana yes the Northstar is the DOHC 32 valve Cadillac V8.

Obviously the engine cradle needs to be strengthened and you'll need to fabricate engine mounts and possibly get new axles made.

I am also considering this conversion but my car has the getrag 5 spd and not sure if it will work or if I have to switch to an automatic.

Edit: I just found a site with some information on this conversion www.westcoastfiero.com

as the average human male life span is around 72 and I am now 36 can I officially consider my fiero as my midlife crisis car?

Yeah, they also sell the kit to drop a Northstar in. However, as someone mentioned above, you can get alot more bang for your buck in other engines. And Kyng, ironically enough, that site is the reason I saw this site (as they're only off of eachother by a single 's').
Never shift into reverse without a back-up plan.
