So Lisa and I were out cruising around kinda checking out how the cowl hood was going to act.  I come up to the light at 200th and Trans Canada, I gently lifted the clutch and the car bucked like the trans was locking up. I had to shut it down, put it in gear re-start it and idle it to a gas station. The trans seems fine, however the clutch has completely exploded. At least that is what I think. So much for the Centerforce V8 Archie Clutch. The pedal has no feel to it until the bottom part and it then it feels like it is binding up. If I start the car even in neutral I get nasty grinding crunching noises coming from the bell housing and the car bucks. Almost sounds like the throw out bearing has crushed into the pressure plate fingers sideways.

Well looks like the 88 will have to be put on the road or I will have to start driving Lisa's SBC powered 86SE. Neither of the other cars have valid emissions testing or insurance on them. Just going to be a hassle getting one up and ready on such short notice.  Car came home on a tow truck.
P.S. the car has never ran cooler, the new cowl hood works like a charm.
