I was just checking gas prices Here and I happened to discover that the price of gas in Hope, BC is 79.9  Wow, hopefully that's a sign that the prices will continue to drop to that level here in the Lower Mainland as well. Currently the prices in this area have dipped to just below 90 cents.

It's great that the price of gas is dropping, however it's small consolation considering that the value of most of our investments have dropped even more drastically.

I forgot that page was even still around.  I have been using this one for so long now.  I even added it to my home page.  I like it becuase you can specify what stations, what grades and or the entire province and sort all places with the lowest prices.

http://www.vancouvergasprices.com/index.aspx?s=Y&fuel=A& amp;area=All+Areas&station=All+Stations&tme_limit=48 &site=Vancouver&srch=0&list=0

What kinda pisses me off, is Surrey has the highest average fuel price in the entire province and it has been like for months.

What pissed me off, is on my road trip I stocked up on $1.02/litre gas in western Alberta, only to drive by Calagary a little while later and see $.80 gas instead.
Never shift into reverse without a back-up plan.

we will see a big drop at the pumps next week im guessing, since its dropped so much. What always pissed me off is:

cost per barrel drops, price at the pumps stays the same. Reason? "The gas in the ground was bought at $X, so how can you expect us to sell it for the new price"
BUT, if the cost per barrel goes up?  It goes up immediatly at the pumps.. even though whats in the ground was bought for less.
