I just finished up Clynt's second modified idler pulley tonight. I did the first one last week. I'm assuming it's to help tighten the serpentine belt on the caddy motor.
Basically, the wheel was made larger. I took the stock one and welded on a sleeve I made on my lathe. Here's a pic: ![]() He says the first one worked like a charm. Dawg |
