Just a side note, any 86-88 V6 guage will work for him. Not sure about the 4cyl ones. One a side note, I am looking for an Oil, Voltage gauge from an 88 V6 car. Unfortunatly the 88 ones did look a bit diffrent. So I need an 88 Specific one. Or if you have a known good one from any 86-87 that I could borrow for a couple weeks to test I could give it back to you. These are the gauges in the Aux pod to the right of the cluster mounted over the Heater Defrost Vent controls.
