i have a question about my rpm gauge, i tried to do a burnout one day it didint work and liek the car jsu took off realy fast but ever sicne then, my rpm gauge the needle isnt smooth it like shakes kidna thing like it wont go up smoth but kidna jus jump lil by lil i dont know wat it is plz help

Your tach filter is probably shot.  Or it is a sign that either your Coil, Pickup Coil or ignition module is on its way out.  All of the above can cause a jumpy tach.

Coil 100 bucks for an MSD unit (60 for an oem)

Pickup Coil, 12 bucks

Ignition Module $91 from Lordco (Delco part)

Tach Filter about 15 from Rodneydickman.com
