I am located in White Rock. I own a 1986 Fiero 2M6 with a Ferrari 308 body kit which is my daily driver. I bought it a month ago. I am not a handy man. Can anyone suggest a local repair shop for repairs and maintenance.

When I don't have time or the tools to work on my car and it needs something done right away, and since Fiero Hut is gone (not that my business would be enough to support him), I bring my car to Fred's Automotive on Fraser and 40th Ave in Vancouver. Fred's has been there for over 30 years. I went to school with Gord and Harold (Fred's sons....Fred has since passed away) who run the place now. They don't generally do much in the way of fancy stuff but for maintenance and repairs, I trust them. Plus their rates are reasonable.

If I don't do the work with help from the club I would take my car to OK Tire on Marine & Oak...I know the owner and he has guys that do great work..havn't had to bring it too him yet, but next week he's rebuilding my whole front end and alignment...his name is Brad, just mention that Brian from the club said to call

Thanks for the replies. I was kind of hoping someone would know someone I could trust and is familiar with Fieros in the Surrey, Langley area. For me to go into Vancouver is a 45-60 min trip

I'm pretty much looking for someone to do all the work. I am planning to do an engine and transmission swap in the future so if anyone has any recommendations that would also be appreciated

I found you a mechanic in New West. I stopped by this local shop that has some heritage in New West, they have muscle cars, normal, antiques, etc. in front of their shop, clean & nice shop also. I went in and spoke to Joe and first question to see his reaction was "would you work on a Fiero"...and he said yes, have worked on many over the years, they are just another car to a degree, no hesitation. He mentioned that he did a deal for a full rebuild with a guy who did graphic design for their shop sign, etc...really nice guy...said if it was a Alfa Romero then it would be a different conversation:). Contact info: Dependable Brake & Muffler, Joe or Frank (Brothers - this is their family shop from 1956), ph: (604) 515-1566 I will be getting a quote to install my front end, they do everything from custom exhaust to full overhaul. Cheers
