It's been a great car, but it's time for me to sell my '86 2m4.

It currently has about 205,000km on it, with about 15,000km on a rebuilt 2.5L engine, and 30,000km on the transmission. The work was done in 2009 and a new clutch was also put in at that time.

The suspension was rebuilt over the past two years with new bushings, ball joints, shocks, etc. and an aftermarket rear sway bar was added. The brakes were also done last year, front calipers were rebuilt (rear calipers had been replaced in 2008) and new pads and cross-drilled rotors.

Doesn't have very many options, but it does have the most important ones (the stuff that shouldn't have been optional) like tilt steering, rear defrost, trunk release, and also a sunroof.

Currently AirCared (until Aug. 2012) and passes easily.

Car is sold now.

Ya know normally I tell people not to spend more than about 1500-2000 on a 4cyl car, but knowing the history on your car, your price is definitely the exception to that rule.  I'll bet you have got $3000 just into the upgrades and repairs, let alone the fact that it is a track proven reliable car.

Price lowered to $2000 and I just replaced the belt and changed the oil and filter.
