It's the fuel millage I'd be worried about, especially on the highway.

There are a few 4x4 Fiero's that are street legal, non to my knowledge are mid engine, but still pretty cool concepts.  I think most use the S series Blazer as the platform as the wheel base is pretty close to a Fiero.
