If anyone is interested, the front end is mostly gone,(donor car) but the rear body is good as well as some interior parts. engine is mostly complete (4cyl) had been a fresh gm rebuilt long block not long b4 the front end had been wrecked. transmission (5speed) is there as well as the drive line and rear brake parts and exhaust. will sell whole or part out.

as far as the ebrake goes, it's still there and looks good, the boot is not ripped however when you pull up on it you don't feel the ratchet working and can't see the cable moving either so can't say if it's in working condition. can pull it tomorrow and get back to you. $25 if it's good?

So the Fiero is an 86 and not an 84, or do you have 2 Fiero's. The reason I remembered the add, was I was thinking about going to take a look at the 84 to see what 4spd was in it.  I am over in Fraser Heights, so your place would not be that far to come take a quick look.

If there is interest from people here, and you approve I could probably drop by with a digital camera, take a few shots of the car and post the pics on here.  Would take a lot of guessing out of the equation for people asking about parts.

Sure, as long as it works fine.
Mine's a little bent and the spring that pushes the button back up is stretched so it doesn't work so well with the boot on.

here's an update on the condition of the parts from this car. I discovered that the car which I understood to have had a fresh gm rebuilt engine not long b4 being wrecked, actually has the original engine in it and the actual mileage is only 10,000. that's miles not km because it was from the US. So the parts are as good as new, the shifter mechanism ebrake operation etc. is absolutely smooth like new. I May actually remove the engine and pull the head to verify the condition and that no water has gotten in over the years. could be a great engine for someone looking for a fresh powerplant. In case anyone is still confused, the transmission is the Isuzu 5 speed and considering the mileage it'll be a great new gearbox for someone.
