    Posted: 02 April 2010 at 2:36pm

Hi all,

My unit does not power off, is this supposed to happen?...I am draining my battery dead after 2 days just recently, just installed a new Yellow Top and Capt has my old one...I think I now know what the problem is...not just the alarm

Is it's not supposed to power off, guess I should install a kill switch to the battery?

Cheers...

I'm thinking it SHOULD power off.  Sure you're not the only one who parks his car for more than 2 days!!!

If it doesn't though...  hook the power to it through a relay.  Hook the coil of the relay to a switched power source.  There's tons right in that corner of the bay, so it'd be really easy.

I've never actually looked but I have left it for 4 days without running it
and didn't drain my battery, so I'm assuming it does
