I am tooling up to sell my 88 turbo, but am currently cleaning it up and enjoying driving it.

One thing I was going to do was refinish the wheels - getting some bleed through in the clear coat.  Thought I'd ask just in case anyone had some wheels in good condition for less than it would cost me to get mine redone.  I have the stock lace style with gold centres.  The rears are the same as all GTs, but the fronts are a long shot because they were only fitted to the 1988s.

If anyone has some good ones, get in touch with condition and price.

From what I've seen average wheels selling for (more so for 88's), you'll end up being far better off having yours reconditioned by one of the (now many?!) local shops doing it.

The place over at around 80th & 130'ish seems to be "fiero friendly".
(in other words - when I told him what I had, he didn't become belligerent!)

Yeah, you are probably right, but I just thought I'd see if anyone had some decent take-offs stacked in their garage.

I think the gold centres were rarer than the black, which makes even less likely.

I usually use Panther out in Port Kells - they were the only guys I trusted not to melt down the original magnesium wheels on my Lamborghini when I was refurbishing them.  Damn refinishing on alloys costs more than a new set of alloys will cost. I should probably just leave them alone and let a new owner deal with it.....
