AFAIK, late model 4T65E-HD refers to 2005-2010 (not sure after that).
Anyhow, if anyone is looking for this info... after searching the net for over an hour I couldn't find it anywhere. With reference to the transmission cooler: The INLET to the transmission is the one that points SIDEWAYS (horizontal). So of course: The OUTLET from the transmission points DOWNWARDS (vertical). If you're hooking it to a remote cooler with a thermostat, it's important that the inlet of the cooler (which has the thermostat for the fan) be attached to the outlet of the transmission (the one pointing down!) so that the fan activates at the correct time. If you're mounting the cooler with the lines above/below each other, the inlet would go at the bottom. |
