I just finished up some parts for a fellow. He's going to be converting to Corvette rotors and he needs a spacer in there to keep things centered. Simple solution that works.

Spacers meaning the concentric rings? And hey, could you do me a favour and ask him what he's doing for calipers! lol |

I guess spacers normally mean something else but yes, concentric rings to keep the rotor centered.
He's called coolgtz on Pennocks. The Dawg |

I fought Facebook vehemently for many, many months. I think I'll put off joining Pennock's for a little while yet. Hehe. |

I'm sure it will be, but I already spend far more time than I should on the internet - forums in particular. The last thing I need is another to keep my mind wandering.

I know what you mean. I've wasted a lot of time over the years at PFF in the Totally O/T (Off Topic) forum.

Yeah exactly. I looked at my history and I've been on six sites forums lately: 60-degree V6 forums. It's too much. My brain never slows down and relaxes, which probably goes a ways to explaining the poor sleeping habits. lol |

Tee hee. I WIN. In all seriousness though, thanks alot, Damien. My second option (We'll see how it works) is a cousin of my mother in Toronto, he's got a few Corvette's, and he's turning one into a race car. If he doesn't want the brakes, I'll pay for the shipping and get him to send those. That's a pretty big maybe at the moment. |

Ain't no 'Vettes at Pick-A-Part, and no typical GM "Everything-gets-shared" policy either, meaning I can't rip 'em from something else.

Gnarley, thank you. Although, am I though only person that can't seem to find Art's Corvette? ...I also now feel jealous that he has cross-drilled and slotted rotors. |

More good info:
http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/112414.html There seems to be several different methods. Some Corvette rotors are bigger than others and 88 Fieros need different adapters of course. The Dawg |

I have the non-heavy duty option (12"), so I'm the first page. Still running in to roadblock after roadblock (Totally intended pun) trying to find those calipers. I may just be giving a quick jingle to my Maple Leafs loving cousin back east, telling him to hurry up.

Well, it seems this guy is using 99 Trans AM rotors and calipers up front and I think 95 Trans AM rotors and calipers in the back.
They must be the same or very close to the Corvette's parts. The Dawg |
