I just finished up Clynt's second modified idler pulley tonight.  I did the first one last week.  I'm assuming it's to help tighten the serpentine belt on the caddy motor.

Basically, the wheel was made larger.  I took the stock one and welded on a sleeve I made on my lathe.

Here's a pic:



He says the first one worked like a charm.

don't believe the word "charm "ever passed my lips
i think it was lets wait and see..definably an improvement

now for the other one..
