I would be interested in heading down this year, provided nothing breaks before then. Looks like a good time

I highly recommend this. It was one of my bucketlist things to do and I went last year. I had a great time and will go again. Unfortunately, it won't be this year as I have plans to be overseas in August this year already.

I am now making plans to go to the 2013 Fiero Fest. Anybody else interested? This would be the 30th year of since the start of production of the Fiero.

One more week to go before I head off to Richland. I guess I won't be at the August club meeting.

I see the Purple Pavement Eater was there. (Its the Notchback / Fastback Hybrid V8 Chop Top Fiero) Someday that is what I want my 857GT to look like.
The PPE has over 450hp on tap with the choptop means it can eat up the highway with ease. Its owned by a person here in Oregon, I have met with him a couple times. Really nice guy. |

Okay...I'm finished loading pictures.
There were a couple of choptops there and just about everybody asked about Ram Bunk Shus II. They are so hoping it makes a showing one day. There is a trophy for club participation. The Oregon club won it this year with ....6 (I think) cars. We generally have more than 8(?) cars show up at a meeting and I would say in good enough condition to make the 600 mile (each way) trip. Boise Idaho is farther away from Richland and they had quite a few cars show up also. So I look forward to the day Westcoast Fieros of BC have a much larger group than 1 or 2 cars go. One more thing, the night cruise included a rather high speed run for part of that drive. High speed portion ended right about the traffic light where the video starts. My brakes were faded by the time I got to that light. It's a good thing we stopped and had a few seconds to cool the brakes down a bit. |
