It is never is cheap with cars, but that doesn't matter
so long as you like them! =)

so they are....back in the day didnt the fiero store sell them uncoated as well??...cause the ones i had looked awful when i got them !! lol

One thing I recently tried (and gotta tell you - was really surprised!) is the new WD40 Specialist rust release spray. 


I usually laugh at WD40, but this stuff really seems to work.

PB blaster works great. I have no faith in the wd40

I got it at Lordco - just happened to be there.

As for "faith in", yeah, I'd normally agree.  But this is no longer just fish oil that the traditional stuff is.  I tried it on a whim, and it works.

What has worked very well for me in the past, is 50/50 mix of acetone
and auto trans fluid. Let it soak in and I've never had trouble getting
rusted bolts out. Even on a 60 year old trailer. Just keep it away from
paint.
