Hello, everyone. I noticed that this is a BC forum, but I
thought I'd sign up anyways. I just bought a Fiero a
couple weeks ago. She's a 1986 Pontiac Fiero GT. She's
not in the best condition, got some pretty nasty body
damage, Fiberglass tearing and some window glass damage.
I bought the car mainly because I'd like to restore it
once I build up the funds, but I'd like to know if anyone
could help me get connected with someone who would know
how to go about doing such things. The car runs really
well, very sound, just isn't as pretty as she was meant
to be. Thanks for reading! Let me know.

~Sincerely,
Tessa Richardson

Tessa, the US is a big place. You may need to narrow it down a bit before we can "connect" you.

And... welcome to ther world of Fieros.

Sorry about that. I live in Eugene, Oregon. Just an hour
and a half inland from the coast and 3 hours from Portland.

However, this weekend from the 13th til the 17th, I will be
in Lynden, Washington visiting family, which is just 15
minutes from the Canadian border where I've lived most of
my life.

Great timing on your post.

Club president Capt Fiero has just stepped down as he's in the process of moving lock, stock and barrel to your neck of the woods.

Still a fair drive from Eugene to where I am going to be, but much closer than Canada. I'll be in Aurora Oregon. Its about 25 miles North of Salem, 25 miles South of Portland. Tiny little town of 650 people. I am selling off most of my Fiero stuff before the move and only taking the really important items.

I can help with information about restoring but I am not really any good with Fiberglassing. I simply replace what needs to be replaced with good used parts. There are a few guys in the Northwest Fiero Club around Portland that have good supplies of used parts. I can try and get you in contact with them when you are ready to start buying stuff.   You are always welcome to drop me an email capt@captfiero.com

What parts are in need of right now.

Umm, I'm missing the oil cap in my car as well as in need
of some new brake pads in the front and new tires. Brakes
and tires I think are pretty generic, but I've had a lot of
trouble finding a new oil cap as there are no generic ones
that fit my car. I'm very new to Fiero's so I don't know
much about the overall worksmanship of the car, but there
are probably a few parts that need to be replaced
otherwise.
