So, I made the road trip to WA only to find out as soon as
I got here, my radiator hose had a split and was leaking
and my engine overheated. The part that was ordered,
connecting the water pump the the pipe was too small, and
the serial number was 8216. DOES ANYONE HAVE A REPLACEMENT
PART? Please let me know. I wanted to go home today, but
now I cannot. No idea if the second part they ordered will
fit. Faster contact would be to call me. My name is Tessa
541-991-6603
Thank you
Love my Fiero <3

Tessa, first thing you've got to learn when asking questions about your Fiero is to at least mention the year and the engine, and it wouldn't hurt to mention the tranny type either.

Don't you be spreading misinformation!

The hoses that run to the heater core also act as pressure relief for the coolant system when the thermostat is closed. Read about it Here.

You don't want this...

Sorry, I forget that people don't already know. I have a
1986 Pontiac Fiero GT manual transmission.
