Hello,
I've been around a little while but never got around to posting anything here. Here's my first fiero 88 GT auto Got it from Kelowna and sounds like I blew a rod bearing on the way back. This is just the way I got it, Mr Mikes leather, monroe suspension, redone interior, rebuilt brakes, new rotors and pads, some other new parts around the engine. Got a 3800SC1 I've slowly been getting ready to swap so if the 2.8 is messed beyond repair, it's not so bad. |

Thanks,
I'm not sure how soon I'll get it done by since I'm going back to school in sept and won't have a job then so won't be able to afford much for it since I have to keep my DD on the road as well. I might start a build thread or just make this into one but progress is pretty slow so any updates would be pretty scarce. |

Well, make sure you store it indoors over the winter if at all possible so you don't go moldy, nor get cracks in the seats.
Meguirs has some really good leather conditioners that will prevent them cracking, or getting all hard (I've got Mr Mikes in one of my cars as well). |

It is in the garage but as you can see in the pictures, it's quite old. I'll probably end up bringing the seats in for the winter since all we have in there is a tiny little space heater and no insulation.
Also, where can I get a cheap dust cover, I don't need anything fancy since it's already sheltered from the weather but it sometimes gets quite dusty in there. I looked at canadian tire and the cheapest one they had there was 40$, am I better off just getting one of the ones off ebay? |

Don't know where you are, but Biancas Liquidation (or whatever its called) at about 104th & 154th in Surrey had 'em for about $20.
Just don't leave 'em outdoors as a few of us found out... I think the medium fit fairly well. Take your antenna off before you put the cover on. Edited by Dr.Fiero |

Here is how my engine sits now,
Is one side supposed to be a lot dirtier? And what is that bar thing running down the middle of the engine, I've never seen it before, I'm guessing it's some sort of balancer for V6s, we've taken apart V8s before and have never seen it. Just curious |
