OK I need a really crazy thing done. I am trying to find a side shot of a Black Fastback car, (86-88GT) Then I want the fastback clip cut off, roughly from the rear window, down to the deck lid. Pretend you took a sawzall to a fastback and remove the quarter windows. I bought this and am thinking about installing on my 85GT, but I want to keep the car resembling a Notchback. I was thinking about cutting the fastback clip smooth and then sanding the cut area, fiberglassing any holes, then painting it. I love the fastback taillights, and trunk, but I really don't want to make my 85GT a Fastback, as I prefer the Notchback look to the car. Edited by Capt Fiero |

Ending up something like this. However not a chop top, and with a stock wing. One last mod, make the ground skirts white.

Wow, those GT taillights look really good on a nochback, eliminates what I think is their worst feature (the stock taillights)

Yep the bottom picture is exactly what I was thinking in my head. Almost reminds me of an X19.

Hm, perhaps in a little while. For now I'm just penning design ideas. When I'm done I'll scan them and let someone handle coloring in the lines for me. =D |
